Rare Einco Cat c1915

This rare feline dates c1915 and has the most beautiful expression with soulful glass eyes. She is five way jointed with a cloth body. The clothes are a later addition and fit her beautifully. There is some overall wear and repairs to the feet but she remains in very strong condition and measures 14" tall – please enquire for more details The company became Chiltern Toys although, until it was registered in 1924, it was known as Eisenmann & Co and traded under the name Einco ( founded by Josef and Gabriel Eisenmann). Gabriel was based in Germany and Josef in London and it was Josef who founded the Chiltern Toy Works in Buckinghamshire in 1908. Additional pics SOLD
