The Old Bear Company

Erris Teddy Bear c1949

This old boy was made by Erris Toys (Eire) c1949, before the company became known as Tara Toys in 1953. He retains his "Made in Eire" label which was used until 1949, after which the label indicated "Made in the Republic of Ireland". Ted is in good condition, heavily filled with wood wool and kapok. He is fully jointed with original red felt pads, glass eyes and black stitched nose/mouth. A dear old character who measures 16" tall Additional pics SOLD
